When does reality end, and marketing hype begin? What are the limts?

Being honest folks, and modesty aside, I was after all was an Eagle Scout (hence, in part our winery name) and a Naval Academy, Annapolis grad, we were dumbfounded when a guest thumbing through the Cottage’s Guestbook remarked – Wow! Those guest comments quoted on your website are real – they’re from real people – not fictional marketing hype.”

Here’s some of the real comments:

“Spectacular views, whirlpool baths, luxury amenities, heavenly breezes…You’ve created a slice of heaven they [competitors] can’t touch… You’ve now made it difficult for all your guests to enjoy other Cottages without saying “Yeah this is nice… but it’s still not the Eagles Nest Vineyard…” You were both so nice, generous, witty, respectful, and just down-to-earth. We’ll just have to come back every chance we can! “

“Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay – you have truly created a sanctuary for peace and tranquility. You definitely have a slice of heaven here. We aren’t going to keep this a secret…A great place, good friends, a special time… “

- Chris & Deborah

“Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay and a friendly couple for us to meet. We look forward to a long and lasting friendship with both of you. We will be back to this paradise you have created. “

- Chuck & Marianne

“We had a great time! Beautiful view!

Great Place! Thank you for making us feel at home”

- Mike & Lug

“We enjoyed our stay very much even though it was short. You have a wonderful place and we will see you next year.”

- Jim & Charlene

So what do you think??? How much marketing hype is OK??? How do you frame real comments?or “BS” information?
